"LOLA LOLA BO FOLA, BONANA FANNA FO FOLA, FEE FY MO MOLA – LOLA!"

This silly little Staffordshire/pit mix is Lola, she loves to be sung to!  At 5 years old, this cat friendly girl has left all that crazy puppyness behind but still likes to have a good time.

Lola reports on her nearly 2 year search for that forever home "I realize I have a lot of competition as there are many young pit bull/mixes looking for homes – let me tell you there are some real advantages of adopting an adult dog (me): I am potty trained, crate trained, I am trustworthy in the house while you are at work, and I won't drive you crazy with lots of excess energy after you come home from work.

For exercise I would like to run & explore in a secure fenced yard; no need for long marathon walks (unless you really want to, I live to please!)! My favorite thing in the world is for you & I to curl up on the couch together, 2nd favorite thing is to relax at your feet with a yummy antler chew.

I am already full grown at 55lbs so there is no guessing as to how big I will get. I get along with calm, balanced male dogs that will romp with me respectfully but then will mellow out with me on a dog bed or the couch.  Oh, and did I mention I am feline friendly?  Cats & I do great, they are the boss & I am fine with that."

If you have strong breed experience, are a homeowner and are committed to being a responsible pit bull owner for the rest of her doggie years, Lola really would like to meet you. Home check and reference checks required. Please contact info@the-pit-stop.org or 425-770-1181 for more information or an adoption application.

  • About The-Pit-Stop

The-Pit-Stop is a small rescue that was formed by Jacinda (former Pasado’s Safe Haven volunteer, previous Homeward Pet board member) and Amy (Homeward Pet dog foster coordinator, adoption counselor) to be a voice and a safe haven for the very misunderstood, neglected and abused American Pit Bull dog breed.

The-Pit-Stop works with local rescue groups like Animal Aid & Rescue foundation, has taken in owner surrenders, and pulls from kill shelters across Washington to give a second chance to those in most need. We are very fortunate to have the support of Homeward Pet Adoption Center and Evergreen Holistic Veterinary Care to help with spay, neuter and veterinary services at a discount.

We are also fortunate to have awesome foster homes and like-minded pittie lovers that offer emotional, transport and financial help in our quest to make a difference. We wouldn't be functional with out them!

With an average of 2,000 Pit Bull/mixes euthanized every year in our local shelters alone, there is so much more work to be done.

The-Pit-Stop specializes in Pit Bull education, and provides shelter & rescue for puppies or dogs that are in danger of being euthanized. We strongly believe in restoring the image of the Pit Bull breeds through responsible Pit Bull ownership and education. We truly feel that we will never put a dent in the homeless Pit Bull problem unless we educate the public about these noble dogs.
